What's New In Engain (21st of October 2026)
🚀 New Features
Grok and Grok Bot Connectors: You can now connect Engain to Grok and Grok Bot from the MCP page. For Grok, "Add to Grok" copies the connector URL and opens Grok's connectors page. For Grok Bot, you copy a prompt and paste it into your bot's chat. Both sign in with your Engain account, so no API key is needed.
Filter by Source in Smart Search: A new toggle next to the results count shows all threads, only threads found by Reddit's search, or only threads Google shows for your keyword. Hover each option to see how many threads it has.
✨ Improvements
More Smart Search Results: Smart Search now returns every Reddit thread Google shows for your keyword, along with Reddit's own search results across all time. Results are more relevant and load faster. Misspelled keywords are corrected automatically.
More Accurate Publish Estimates: Publish time estimates are now based on how long tasks in each subreddit actually take to publish.
Scheduled Time on Hover: In Track Tasks, hovering the Scheduled badge shows the exact date and time a task will go out, and how long until then. Scheduled upvote orders show the same tooltip.
Removed Comments Update Automatically: Track Tasks now checks your recently published tasks when you open it. A comment removed by moderators shows its new status without a manual refresh.
🐛 Bug Fixes:
Declined Card Purchases: If your bank declines a credit purchase made with your saved card, you now see that it was declined instead of "Purchase complete". You can also buy the same credit package again within the hour.
Affiliate Checkout: Affiliate accounts can now upgrade or add a project without the "Failed to start checkout" error.
Competitor List: Every competitor in Settings now shows as a clean domain (for example example.com), however it was added.
Refunds and Upvotes: Refunds for cancelled tasks now exclude upvotes that were already ordered for them. Those upvotes are refunded on their own.
